Meet Dr. Schneider
Hi, Im Dr. McKenzie Schneider, OTR/L, OTD, MBA, ASDSC, ADHD-CCSP. I have been doing home healthcare now for over 7 years. I have a background as both an occupational therapist and a behavioral analyst. Over the years I realized how fragmented healthcare is, and began obtaining a multitude of certifications and trainings to become a more well rounded clinician that can truly treat the whole body and address the root causes of functional deficits.
I am certified in Autism care, ADHD care, aquatic therapy, reflex integration, lymphedema, chronic pain management, astronaut training, and am certified in youth mental health. I have a Graduate level ABA behavioral certificate from FIT and am extensively trained in complex high risk behavioral management.
A distinction about my practice from others is I only use non-toxic waldorf based therapy toys, and emphasis being outside and in nature as much as safe and can practically be done. Froms Grimms, Sarahs Silks, Grapat, Holtigzer, Osthmeir, and more I have many luxury based tools that allow for open imagination play and promote independence.
I believe in coordinating with nutritionists, functional medicine doctors, massage therapists, and more to ensure my patients are being treated as comprehensively as possible. I believe that western medicine has its place, but that often in modern medicine holistic more natural remedies are not always explored as apart of a comprehensive treatment plan. My goal is to explore all rehabilitation tools both modern and more natural that are evidence based to allow my patients to thrive.

McKenzie saw my whole child, and treated them as a whole person. The skills my child has gained are extensive and we are so thankful for her. -Peditractic testimony
